Why hello friends! Look who’s still alive over here! Due to the craziness of school, the last few months I’ve definitely slacked on this blog. So now I return for the summer (and hopefully the rest of the year, too)! I thought I’d update you guys on a few happenings and what to expect soon.
First, I have a stash of short stories from a class I took this semester, so I should be posting those soon. Some of them are outside of my normal genre (superhero), like historical fiction and aliens, but I hope you’ll still enjoy them!
Second, I’ve been making some (slow) progress on IDIA #3, but I’m not sure when that will be released. I have another big novella-novel writing project that I’m super excited about, and that will probably be taking precedence since it’s for school. I’m definitely still working on book 3, though!
Finally, voting for the TCK Reader’s Choice Awards is still open, and Twinepathy is on the list! If you haven’t voted yet, you can read more about how to do so here.
Most importantly: I want to know what you’ve been up to! I’ve been out of the loop for a while, so let me know in the comments below about any awesome books you’ve been reading. I love talking with you guys!
Nice to see you back! 😁It’s super exciting to know that you are working on book 3! I just ordered book 2 and I can’t wait to read it (I LOVED the first one❤️).

Hey C.B! Glad you’ve emerged again 🙂
Have you had much time for reading?
I’ve been really getting into Leigh Bardugo

I’ve gotten to do a little reading, mostly for school though. I’ve actually never read any of her books. Which ones have you read/recommend?

Ah right. Hmm, well she really only has one world, so you’d have to start at the start with the Grisha trilogy. They have amazing world building, evocative writing and an interesting plot. The romance is a little meh though, and there is some content I don’t appreciate. But Shadow and Bone is the first one 🙂

I’ll have to look into that! I think I’ve heard of it before.

Oh, look, you still exist! 😀 I’ve missed seeing you around the blogosphere.
I recently reread the Auralia Thread series by Jeffery Overstreet. Those were pretty good, though my experience this time around was very different than it was the first time I read them. And I just read Kyle Robert Shultz’s Horseman (after forgetting about it for WAY too long), and that was super fun.
Looking forward to hearing more about your writing (and hopefully reading some of it!).

Yeah, I’ve missed being around! It’s so hard to keep up with everything during the semester. 😦
I’ve never read that series! What’s it about? I’ve only read The Beast of Talesend for Shultz, but I have The Tomb of the Sea Witch now and I’m super excited to (hopefully) start it soon.
Thank you!! 😀

Yay! I’m glad you’re back to blogging! 😃 I know how busyness can affect blogging and writing.
I’ve been busy formatting Underground (Reintegration #2) as well as working on a new sci-fi novel. And lots of reading!
Can’t wait to hear more about your writing projects!
