Oh, you poor, poor people. I hate to leave you hanging, but… no, actually I don’t. I enjoy it. This is probably going to happen a lot. 😛 Hang on tight! Things are about to get crazier.
Tony scratched his head, yawning. It was too early to be awake. Natasha was crazy. How could she look so chipper, this early in the morning? And how in the world did she look like she’d just spent an hour doing her hair and make-up, when he knew for a fact that she had no make-up and had just woken up five minutes ago? At least Loki looked just as sleepy as he did. He would’ve laughed at how tangled Loki’s hair was, but he probably looked just as bad, if not worse.
Natasha sat down next to them, running her hands through her red hair. “Okay, we need to find some food. Loki, any chance you can use your magic to–”
“No,” Loki said, frowning. “I have already tried. My magic is not working.” He frowned over at his scepter. His Glow Stick of Destiny, Tony thought with a smile as he remembered the nickname. It certainly wasn’t glowing anymore. Tony figured that was good.
Natasha frowned. “That doesn’t make sense. Why not?”
Loki shrugged. “I do not know. It has not worked since we got here. Otherwise I would most certainly be somewhere else.” He gave Tony a glare.
Tony faked an innocent look. “Why would you want to leave our wonderful company?”
Natasha growled. “If you two so much as look at each other wrong, you’ll be tied to separate trees until your attitudes are straightened out. Got it?” Both men fell silent immediately. “Good. Now, my guns are useless, and we don’t know what kinds of animals and things are on this island.” She glanced at Loki’s scepter. “Anyone tried spearfishing?”

Banner didn’t know what time it was when he woke up, but the sun was just peering over the horizon. Fury was stirring what was leftover of their fire. He tossed a prepackaged bag of trail mix to Banner. “Here. That is probably all you’ll find for breakfast. I haven’t been able to find much else.”
Banner frowned. “Where did you get this?” he asked as he opened it.
“I like to be prepared,” Fury said as if that explained it.
Banner shrugged and dug in. The trail mix tasted good, since he hadn’t eaten much. “Have you seen any wildlife or anything?” Banner asked. He wasn’t too scared, but, honestly, he didn’t exactly want to hulk out on this tiny island.
Fury shook his head. “Nothing. No natives, either.”
Hopefully there weren’t any. Nothing like island natives with blow darts to stir things up. And bring out the Hulk.
I apologize for the short episode, but I honestly didn’t have much time to write this week. Longer post next week!

I love their names. I may steal one if that’s alright with you. 😛

Whose names? 😛

All of them, but Loki especially.

XD Well, they’re not really my names, so feel free to steal. They’re technically Marvel’s… Not sure they’d enjoy stealing. 😛

Just so I don’t get in trouble with Marvel, I’m going to pretend like the names are yours. 😉

XD Go right ahead. Most of them are common enough. Maybe not Thor’s and Loki’s…

True. But Marvel will never know. All credit goes to you. 😀

Why thank you! 😀 Don’t steal Natasha, she’s mine… XD

Hmm . . . there must be some kind of anti-magic field over the island. Which raises the question: who would know how to do that sort of thing, and why would they bother doing it when they probably had no idea that the helicarrier would crash, let alone when and where?

*groans* That’s it?! =P You’re doing a great job keeping their personalities true to what you see in the movies. I love this line: “‘I like to be prepared,’ Fury said, as if that explained it”.

XD Aww, thanks! I’m trying to keep them true… but I feel like I need to go watch more clips to help out.
That line produced a fangirl moment, actually… 😛

I make a fairly good pie, I must admit. As long as I have premade crust and pie filling… XD

😛 Otherwise you botch the crust? Oh, I empathize–definitely been there.

No… I just haven’t tried it without premade crust. 😛 I’m not much of a cook. Too much of a perfectionist. Ironic with my last name…

Well, I can definitely believe that Steve would be a very good friend. Not just because he’s utterly adorable (because, he is! Seriously. I actually had an idea for a short piece where they’re playing the culture version of Mad Libs and Pepper caps it off by firing “Put the shield down, Steve, you look ridiculous,” and Steve, who’s become a BBC fan through no intention of his own–really, is there any other way?! Because if there is, I’d like to hear it–just shouts “MERLIN!” at the top of his lungs, then looks around and says sheepishly “Sorry,” and Thor says, “And you tell ME to use an indoor voice!” or something like that), but because he’s loyal and kind. He’s such a sweetie :-3

XD Yes, Steve would definitely the best. If I remember right, Thor was next best, but only not the best because “He wouldn’t kill Loki if he was threatening you…” Thor is the worst peacemaker.

Aah! Where’s Cap? What happened?
I’m horrible with cliffhangers. It feels like the longer I wait, the more danger the characters are in and like I need to save them.
“Captain America needs my help!” 😛

Well, even though, I don’t like going through suspense myself, my siblings said i always put really bad cliffhangers at the ends of chapters. 😛

XD I try to do that, but somehow my stories are never cliffhanger-ish. Just my fanfics. 😛
