Eleven facts about myself:
- I love God.
- I am homeschooled.
- I didn’t get my learner’s permit until a couple weeks ago, even though I’m already sixteen.
- I have short-term memory loss (and long term :D). And blond moments.
- I’ve been blogging for almost eleven months, as I started my other blog in August of 2013.
- The last time I counted, which was a while ago, I had over two hundred books in my room. So, yes, I love to read.
- I love making jokes, quoting movies, and having people laugh at what I say. When I’m trying to be funny, that is.
- I actually… don’t mind math that much. (cue gasps)
- I have absolutely no sense of humor, and I am never sarcastic. (Ha-ha. :D)
- I crochet. Sometimes. If I have time.
- I love the Avengers. Yes, I have crocheted a mini Captain America shield and a mini Thor’s hammer. Maybe I’ll work on Mother’s drapes soon. (Anyone get that? :D)
The Eleven Questions of Doom
- Why do you blog? I blog because I love to write, I want to get my stories out there, and I want to tell others about Jesus.
- What is your favorite book/movie genre? Books… do classics count as a genre? Movies, probably superhero/action-adventure/comedy. Quotable movies are good.
- What kind of music do you listen to? Christian upbeat, mostly artists like tobyMac (<3), but I also love Jeremy Camp and Colton Dixon.
- What is the most important thing in your life? My faith, then my family and then
ducks and facial hairwriting. And reading. And then being funny and making jokes. - Are you Swedish? As far as I know, no.
- What is your favorite season? I’d have to say that it’s winter. The only time when it’s not burning hot
- What was your major in college (for those of you not in or out of college, what do you want your major to be?) I really have no idea. Possibly English, or teaching, with a minor in Psychology? Who knows…
- What is your favorite sport? Does horseback riding count? That’s the only thing I do. I like watching football, though. *tomboy alert*
- What kind of things do you laugh at? Funny things. All right, so you want a serious answer? Quotes from the Avengers and other amazing movies, funny clips from the Avengers and other amazing movies, those pictures with the quotes that people add, like the one below. And I like corny jokes, too.
- Why did the chicken cross the road? *sighs deeply* A tragic story, my friends. He was trying to get away from Colonel Sanders, who wanted to make him into Kentucky Fried Chicken, so he ran across the road. Unfortunately, he walked right into Popeyes, and became a menu item in their Louisiana kitchen. The End.
- What is your favorite type of food? Mexican. Definitely.

I know!!! His first movie is actually the only superhero movie other than the Avengers that I’ve seen. 😀 So that might be why he’s my favorite. And he reminds me of myself, in a way: that ninety pound weakling… 😆

What??? Ack! Go watch it!!! Actually, from what I’ve heard, it’s the best one, and all of the others are “mediocre”. It’s definitely amazingly quotable. Maybe that’s why I like it so much. That, and it’s the first one I ever watched.
And, no, I’m not being too hard on myself. I really am ninety pounds and pretty weak, although I have a teensy bit of muscle from dragging half-ton horses around. 😀

Ah, well, we take riding lessons once a week. It’s a lot of fun, unless you take a big long break and then come back. Then you find muscles you didn’t know you had. 😉

Oh good noodles! Well, I’ve only seen the original three Spiderman movies. They were kinda nice. And I’ve only seen the batman movies a little bits on TV. But you have to see Spiderman! I think I’m Spiderman.
Sore legs, I bet? Riding would be cool. I used to ride.

Well, I’m pretty sure the Avengers was my first PG-13 movie, and I didn’t watch that until a little bit before my sixteenth birthday.
Sore legs, sore back, sore shoulders, sore neck… sore everywhere. Sometimes even my brain is sore. Although that might be from the heat. 😉 You did? That’s neat.

I like when they put them on TV and make it all acceptable and stuff. It’s more fun that way.
*laughing* Well, then you must do pushups. That wouldn’t work, I guess. I imagine sitting straight on a horse does get very tiring after a while! Yes, it was a while back. I had fun. And I remember the horse being really tall.

Yep, that’s true. I’ve gone sixteen years without breaking a single bone, so I count myself pretty lucky. My worst injury was when I slammed my finger in a car door. On Mothers’ Day.

Ooo, I be that hurt pretty badly. I was doing self-defense with my self-defense partner and he split my tooth. An odd injury. Everything’s fixed now, but that was probably the worst injury I’ve had.

I just saw the first Spiderman which had Tobey Maguire. (It was tense, though fortunately not too bloody or graphic.) And don’t ask me how I remembered the actor’s name; as far as I’m concerned, it’s probably a miracle. (Professor, I didn’t know you were a Spiderman fan!)

I may be working on one of my two newest novel ideas in November. One doesn’t have a title yet, the other one is called “Loyalties,” with a sequel entitled “Generations.” They are my most ambitious single-storyline works yet.

Cool! What’s it about? (The untitled one is about an orphan who is currently enrolled but does not appear on the paperwork of a magic school, and the other one, Loyalties, is a bit more developed–it’s about a young Ranger who is assigned to protect his princess, but when she turns traitor, his duty becomes to stop her. The sequel, Generations, takes place when the original Ranger is all grown up and teaching an apprentice of his own. They live in a world where magic was blocked out long ago for everyone’s safety, and if the radicals succeed in returning magic to the land they could destroy all life on earth. I just love misguided demented fanatic nuts, don’t you?)

😀 That sounds interesting!!! Well, mines not very developed, but it’s set in the past, and a ranch house in the Texas panhandle burns down (Which is exactly what happened to my great-grandma’s house in the panhandle… completely coincidental. Or not. 😉 ), and it turns out to be arson. The sequel will probably be set in present-day, with a murder while her grandkids are trying to rebuild the house. Which is happening now. 😉

Cool! 😀 I mostly write fantasy, FYI. 😉 And “Generations” is an attempt at turning a common “trope” on its ear. Magic makes people go insane in that world, unless they’ve been specially trained to keep their heads, which Rangers are, in the emergency case that the Veil should ever be breached, releasing Magic once more into their world. And the main character, Winter, is unusual even among Rangers–it’s been whispered that he once used Magic without breaching the Veil, which should be impossible. They were worried that he was going to turn evil when he was very young, so he was apprenticed much younger than other Rangers in training…

I love that. I’ve been trying to spread myself into different genres, and fantasy’s one I started a story in (with a talking horse, of course), but, well, I got sidetracked by other projects. 😉

I have cherul–which are basically huge cats which sort of run like cheetahs and are strong enough to carry humans on their backs. Yay me! ^_^
